**How the Dispatch Service of Kyivvodokanal Works** {title} Kyivvodokanal's dispatch service is responsible for managing and coordinating the repair and maintenance of the city's water supply and sewerage systems. Here's how it works: 1. **Receiving and Registering Calls** - Customers can report issues by calling the hotline **1551** or using the online service on the [Kyivvodokanal website](https://kyivvodokanal.gov.ua/). - Each call is registered with a unique identifier (work order number) for tracking purposes. 2. **Dispatching Technicians** - Based on the reported issue, the dispatch service sends a work order to the nearest available crew. - Technicians are equipped with GPS devices, allowing for real-time location tracking and efficient route planning. 3. **Repair and Maintenance Work** - Technicians arrive at the reported location and assess the issue. - They perform the necessary repairs or maintenance work, using specialized equipment as needed. 4. **Quality Control and Follow-up** - After the work is completed, the dispatch service conducts quality control to ensure the issue has been resolved satisfactorily. - Customers can also provide feedback on the service received. 5. **Reporting and Statistics** - The dispatch service generates regular reports on the number of calls received, their types, and resolution times. - These statistics help in planning and improving the service. **Emergency Situations** In case of emergencies (e.g., water supply interruption, flooding, or sewer backup), customers should call the emergency hotline **101** or **1551**. Emergency calls are given top priority. {shortcode:map}

**Main Dispatch Office – Brain and Heart of Kyivvodokanal** The main dispatch office is the brain and heart of Kyivvodokanal. It's from here that specialists manage the water supply and wastewater regimes of the capital and forecast the city's water needs. It's also where reports of emergency situations come in, and dispatchers quickly allocate special equipment, monitor its movement, and track the progress of emergency repairs. The main dispatch office consists of three departments: the Dispatch Service, the Analytical and Accounting Department, and the On-Call Shift. It's the workers of the Dispatch Service who communicate with subscribers and receive complaints about poor water supply and quality, as well as reports of deviations from normal system operation and organization of work to eliminate emergency and abnormal situations. It's worth noting that unlike most organizations that provide communal services, Kyivvodokanal does not use auto-responders to handle subscriber inquiries. You will always be connected live with specialists who can answer your additional questions or direct you to the appropriate department if the issue is not within their competence. However, our dispatchers also handle other important tasks: operational management and control of water supply and wastewater systems, coordination of work to localize and eliminate emergency situations with the involvement of city emergency services, and notification of relevant organizations about abnormal and emergency situations. There are 7 people on duty in the dispatch service, including only two operators who directly receive calls from subscribers. On average, about 500 calls from residents come in daily on landline phones, in addition to at least 150 working calls from 15 pumping stations. However, unfortunately, about 20% of the incoming calls are not related to the absence of cold water. For example, they may ask about payment, transfers, or complain about the absence of hot water or the work of other communal services. This results in a lot of time spent explaining to the subscriber where they should actually turn to and whom they should call. To avoid our dispatchers being distracted by such calls, we kindly ask our subscribers to contact our Dispatch Service at number 15-81 and (044) 200-73-01 **only in the following cases**: - You have **NO COLD** water or water pressure is low, and you want to report it and find out the reason. - You have complaints about the quality of **COLD** water. - You want to report a water leak or other emergency situation on **EXTERNAL** networks of **COLD** water supply. - You want to report sewage contamination or a sewage leak. - You want to report the absence of a cover on a water or sewage manhole. **Where to turn with other questions** 1. If you have questions about **transfers for services, installation of meters, submission of readings**, or any other questions related to the work of Kyivvodokanal, call our contact center at (044) 202-02-02 or our **Customer Service Centers**. 2. If you have questions about **hot water supply**, contact Kyivteploeenergo or the Central Dispatch Service for Housing and Communal Services at 15-57 or the city of Kyiv's contact center at 15-51. 3. Regarding **emergency situations on internal building networks**, contact the building's balance holder (JEC, OSBB). Thank you for saving our time, as we work for you! *Read more about how our updated dispatch office uses the Geoinformation System and its benefits [here](news/gis-novi-texnologii-dlya-efektivnoi-roboty/).*
