On the sewage collector with a diameter of 1200 mm on Ushakova Street, a sinkhole has occurred on the roadway opposite building No. 16 due to the action of gas corrosion and damage to the reinforced concrete pipeline. Specialists from Kyivvodokanal have conducted a preliminary inspection and localized the damage, and are currently determining the extent of the damaged section that needs to be restored.
The sinkhole has been cordoned off, and at present, traffic is flowing in one lane.
Since Kyivvodokanal does not have the technical capability to carry out work on collectors of such a large diameter on its own, in such cases we usually turn to subcontracting organizations. It is planned to complete the inspection tomorrow, after which a technical task for reconstruction will be formed, and after the tender procedure, the subcontracting organization will begin the work.
At present, there are no restrictions in water supply and wastewater disposal for the adjacent buildings.
