Investment program of JSC "Kyivvodocanal" for 2020

22.01.2021 14:50
More than 300 million hryvnias was spent on the reconstruction of water supply and wastewater facilities, the purchase of technical and technological equipment under the investment program of Kyivvodokanal in 2020. For the first time in recent years, Kyivvodokanal has fully implemented its investment program - over 98% - and used these funds as effectively as possible. (Currently, we are continuing the reconstruction of transitional objects for 2021. This is why the investment program has been implemented at 98%) The investment program is funded from the water supply and wastewater tariff (depreciation charges) and accounts for about 8% of its structure. This is an investment in the development of the enterprise, the renewal of technologies, the repair of networks, and the modernization of our facilities. The measures of the investment program are aimed at renewing the main funds, increasing the efficiency of production, and improving the quality of services. One of our most important environmental projects - the construction of a plant for the production of chlorine dioxide on the Dnieper water treatment station - was funded under the investment program of Kyivvodokanal. In addition, in 2020, we completed the reconstruction of seven capital construction facilities. Also, the reconstruction of the disinfection unit at the "Minsk" water treatment station was completed under the investment program, and it was switched to the use of sodium hypochlorite instead of chlorine. The reconstruction of the clean water reservoir at the Dnieper water treatment station was also completed, and now clean drinking water will be stored in a modern building before being supplied to the network and will maintain high quality. Also, the reconstruction of the Syretsky self-flowing canalization collector, the collector on Pyrohivsky Shliah Street, and four viaducts (steel pipelines) over the Lybid River was completed. Currently, the reconstruction of the canalization network on Illinska Street and Nestorovsky Prospekt is ongoing, and we are working on the technical re-equipment of three canalization pumping stations, with their reconstruction and commissioning planned within the investment program for 2021. Under the investment program of Kyivvodokanal, a number of perspective construction projects have been developed, which will be implemented in the future.
