Kyivvodokanal must ensure stable, high-quality water supply and sewerage services to city residents under any weather conditions. Therefore, it's crucial that our vehicles can always reach the site of repair work promptly. However, snowfalls, whether forecasted or sudden, can create significant obstacles for our vehicles' movement.
There may be so much snow that our vehicles struggle to navigate city streets and arrive at their destination on time. Additionally, the areas where our facilities are located are spread across different parts of the city, have a large area, and also require snow clearance, no less than the areas where our vehicles are stationed.
Therefore, in 2020, the technical department of Kyivvodokanal, within the framework of the "Contracting out of main equipment repair program", installed special snow-clearing equipment - rotating snow plows - on 5 dump trucks.
If necessary, the snow-clearing equipment can be easily installed on vehicles, with installation/take-down taking no more than 30 minutes. It can be operated directly from the vehicle's cab using a remote control.
Now, we will be able to significantly reduce the time and costs for snow clearance and always arrive at our destination on time, regardless of the weather.
